ROBBY & TRIZZIA
From the moment they met to the life they’ve built together, Robby and Trizzia’s love story now continues in paradise.
Join us as we say “I do” under the palms of the North Shore in Oahu, Hawaii.
OUR STORY
Robby and Trizzia’s story began in the most modern way, a chance connection online that quickly grew into something unforgettable. What started as casual messages soon turned into day-long FaceTime conversations, filled with laughter, easy comfort, and the kind of chemistry that couldn’t be ignored. Robby used to drive hours just to meet Trizzia in person, and from that very first date 11 years ago, it was clear to both of them that this connection was something rare.
For the next few years, they spent weekends together whenever they could, making every moment count. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together with their son/fur baby, Tyson. Through every adventure, quiet night in, and all the little moments in between, Robby and Trizzia have truly gotten to know each other’s souls. Their shared love of music and traveling has woven their lives together in meaningful ways, from live shows to road trips, each memory adding to their story.
THE PROPOSAL
Years later, that same sense of ease and joy carried into the moment Robby asked the biggest question of all. On Christmas morning, after opening presents with just the two of them and Tyson, Tyler Childers’ “In Your Love” began to play, a soundtrack to a perfect moment. Robby pulled out a ring, and Trizzia gave the easiest “yes” of her life.
That same weekend, which happened to be New Year’s, they celebrated their engagement at CRSSD Proper, a NYE music festival in San Diego, their favorite city. They danced, sang, and shared a magical New Year’s kiss as newly engaged. Between the excitement of the festival, the holiday, good food, and plenty of martinis raised in toasts, it was the perfect start to their next chapter; a life full of music, travel, and the joy of being together.

With not one, but two listings on the US Department of the Interior’s National Register of Historic Places since the 1970’s, Kualoa Ranch Private Nature Reserve is owned and managed by the eighth generation descendants of Dr. Gerritt P. Judd. Kualoa’s mission is to enrich people’s lives by preserving Kualoa’s sacred lands and celebrating its history. Established in 1850, Kualoa’s company vision is to be a role model as stewards of these amazing 4000 acres named Kualoa, Hakipu’u and Ka’a’awa.
Our goal is to protect and enhance the natural beauty of these lands while developing sustainable recreational, agricultural and aquacultural enterprises that are compatible with the environment. All tours and commercial activities enable Kualoa to keep the lands undeveloped so that future generations will be able to enjoy them as well. We truly care about and strive to educate all visitors … kama’aina, military and malihini … about traditional Hawaiian values, reverence for our natural environment, respect for the host Hawaiian culture and most importantly, the sacred history of Kualoa.

THE GROOMSMEN
JOHN SONG
Best Man
John met Robby at Rosemont Middle School in 2005, and they've been close ever since. One of John's favorite memories is the summer before 9th grade, when he spent an entire week at Robby's aunt's house where he was living. John's parents had no idea where he was until his sister eventually showed up to take him home.
From that point on, John and Robby became more like family than friends. Although John now lives in Houston, distance has never changed their bond, and after more than 20 years of friendship, he remains one of Robby's closest friends.
BLAKE MALONE
Best Man
Blake met Robby when he moved to La Crescenta in middle school, and what started through a shared circle quickly turned into a lifelong friendship. By high school, they were more like brothers than friends. Over the years, they bonded through a shared love of music, countless inside jokes, and an endless ability to communicate through movie quotes.
After nearly 20 years of friendship, one of Blake's favorite memories is still their very first sleepover, something only the two of them can truly laugh about. As Blake puts it, "Robby is the only friend I have never been upset with and who has never let me down."
LOUIE ALONZO
Groomsman
As Robby's older brother, Louie has been by his side from the very beginning. Growing up, Louie never missed an opportunity to pick on his little brother, but when it truly mattered, he was always there to stand up for him and have his back. Through life's challenges and milestones, their bond only grew stronger.
Louie is also one of the funniest people Robby knows, always able to make those around him laugh. Today, Louie has always known Robby to be fiercely loyal, and today Robby is proud to have his brother standing beside him on his wedding day as a loving husband, an incredible father of three, and role model to his family.
JAMES HEINEMANN
Groomsman
James met Robby going into 8th grade through a mutual friend, and their friendship didn’t exactly get off to the smoothest start. After James beat Robby in a video game and refused to give him a rematch, Robby held a grudge, and they weren’t exactly instant friends.
Things changed once Robby started going to school with them and they ended up having P.E. together. Over time, they bonded, and what started as a rocky introduction turned into a friendship that grew into a 20 year brotherhood. Although the grudge may still be there today, James has become more like family than a friend.
RYAN SHUMWAY
Groomsman
Ryan and Robby are cousins, born just six days apart, but their relationship has always felt more like brothers than cousins. When Robby moved into his Aunt's home before starting eighth grade, he had no idea it would become one of the most influential chapters of his life. Not only did he gain a home, but he also found the core group of friends who remain some of their closest friends to this day.
For three years, Ryan and Robby shared a room and a queen sized bed, countless laughs, and a bond that only grew stronger with time. Through every stage of life, they have always looked out for one another, offering support, loyalty, and friendship no matter the circumstances. Robby cannot imagine his life without Ryan and is honored to have him standing by his side on his wedding day.
JACK SHUMWAY
Groomsman
Jack is Robby's older cousin, but their relationship has always felt more like that of brothers. Growing up, Jack, Ryan, Louie, and Robby were known as the four boys of the family. Their moms always made sure they stayed close, sharing holidays, family gatherings, matching gifts, and countless memories together throughout the years.
One of Robby's favorite memories with Jack was attending Stagecoach together in 2011, where they bonded over their shared love of country music. Their relationship grew even stronger when Robby moved to La Cañada and spent more time with Jack and the family. Through every stage of life, Jack has been a constant source of support, friendship, and laughter.
JERRY BUTT
Groomsman
Jerry met Robby in 2005 at Robby's cousin's birthday party before he moved to La Cañada. Although they became friends right away, their bond grew even stronger during summer school before their freshman year of high school, where they shared math class. Jerry's sense of humor quickly made him one of Robby's closest friends.
After Robby transferred schools, Jerry made it a tradition to pick him up every Friday in Torrance before football games so he could spend the weekend back home with the boys. It's something Jerry still never lets Robby forget, but it's a gesture he'll always be grateful for. More than 20 years later, Jerry remains a brother to Robby, and someone he'll always love and appreciate.
KYLE POMEROY
Groomsman
Kyle met Robby in 2005 after he moved to La Cañada. As one of the best pitchers Robby knew, Kyle was always jokingly supposed to be his "money maker," with Robby convinced he'd make it to the big leagues and support them both one day.
Although they weren't part of the same core friend group, Robby always made an effort to spend time with Kyle. Whether Kyle was away at college in New York or back home in California, they never lost touch. More than 20 years later, Kyle remains someone Robby is proud to call a brother.
JOHN ABRIGHT
Groomsman
Robby met John in April 2012 during his second year at Coachella. After an unforgettable Alesso set on day one, Robby wanted to go see The Black Keys before Swedish House Mafia, but none of his friends wanted to go. John, who Robby had just met that day, was the only one willing to go with him.
What Robby didn't realize at the time was that the night would become a core memory. They ended up dead center, just 20 feet from the front for Swedish House Mafia, witnessing a show they still talk about to this day. Since then, John and Robby have continued going to Coachella together, creating more memories and building a friendship that has grown into a brotherhood.
